School Holiday Clinics

Understandably, parents do not wish their sons to lose time from school. Accordingly, additional Circumcision Clinics are held at the start and during each school holiday. Appointments can be made in advance for boys of school age.

Patients need feel no embarrassment in contacting Custom House on this personal matter. Sylvia Nicholas and her nursing colleague; Sister Pat Munroe, (above) are very accustomed to meeting with parents and patients having this procedure. They understand your concerns and their experience ensures everything goes as comfortably as possible.

Accommodation

Some patients travel quite a distance to avail themselves of Custom House Services and there is independent accommodation nearby for those who wish to stay overnight. Practice Manager Mrs Sylvia Nicholas will be able to provide you with details of local facilities when you make an appointment

Fees reflect Dr Zarifa's wish to make this procedure available to those on modest incomes. The figures below include everything; operation, medication and appropriate dressings.

Please Note
Adult circumcisions and re-do circumcisions and frenulum removal require a detailed consultation prior to the procedure. This allows about twenty minutes for the options, preferences and consequences relating to each procedure to be explained by Dr Zarifa. Patients usually wish to undergo the operation immediately following the consultation. However, they are not bound to, as consultations may be booked as a separate session costing only £110, allowing an indefinite period for reflection after which a patient may decide whether or not to proceed.

Those who then go ahead need to make a new appointment for the procedure at which £110 is deducted from the £600 adult circumcision or the £800 re-do circumcision fee or the £350 frenulum removal fee. Because it is a remedial procedure, re-do circumcision is usually more tricky and time consuming to perform and therefore more expensive than a normal circumcision.

Teenagers who are approaching adulthood may appreciate the advantage of a detailed consultation and if so the adult fee applies.
